Early access · for Zoho teams

Zoho takesthe stage.AI worksthe middle.

Midstage connects Zoho to AI agents that run in your own AWS account. They work Zoho records under their own Zoho login, reach the data that lives outside Zoho, follow work for days, and write every result back into the record your team already uses.

Act one · the stall

Your AI didn't stall in Zoho. It stalled at the edge of it.

Most AI pilots inside a Zoho shop stall in the same three places. In each one the problem sits just outside the system people work in.

01 · the data

The answer lives somewhere else.

The ERP, the EHR, the contracts, the call recordings, the shared drive. Most of a mid-market company's data isn't in Zoho, so an assistant that only sees Zoho guesses.

02 · the time

The work takes days, not a chat.

An assistant answers when someone asks. Nobody owns the order between shipped and paid, so it sits between two systems until a customer calls.

03 · the trust

Nobody signed off on the risk.

Where does the data go? Who is the agent? Who approved what it did? Without clear answers, security says no and the pilot stays a pilot.

Act two · the play

Cue. Scene. Curtain.

Every piece of work Midstage runs has the same three beats, and the last one always happens inside Zoho.

Cue · in Zoho

Something happens.

A record reaches a stage, a ticket lands in a queue, a schedule fires, or someone asks a question in Cliq.

Scene · in your AWS account

An agent works it.

It reads Zoho under its own login, checks the systems Zoho can't see, remembers what it saw last time, and stays inside the rules you set.

Curtain · back in Zoho

The result lands.

A note, a field, a task, a card in the record, or a hand-off to a person. Everything it did shows up in Zoho, under its own name.

A scene from the Watcher

The order that would have stalled.

Shipped isn't the same as invoiced, and invoiced isn't the same as paid. A watcher follows the order through Inventory, Books, the carrier and the ERP, then writes what happened back to the order.

  1. Day 0
    Cue: order marked shipped

A watcher is assigned to SO-10442 when it ships from Zoho Inventory.

  2. Day 1
    Delivered, not invoiced

The carrier shows the order delivered, but there's still no invoice in Books. The owner gets a nudge in Cliq.

  3. Day 2
    Invoice sent

The owner sends the invoice from Books. The watcher sets its next check for the due date.

  4. Day 31
Past due, and there's a reason

Payment hasn't arrived, and the ERP shows a credit hold on the account. The case goes to the AR lead with a brief attached.

  5. Day 33
    Paid. Curtain.

Payment posts. The watcher closes and writes the full timeline to the order.

House rules

The star stays the star.

  1. Zoho is the system of record.

Midstage never becomes a second place to do the work. Every result is written into Zoho.

  2. Zia keeps its lane.

If Zia already does it inside Zoho, use Zia. Midstage covers the work Zia isn't built for.

  3. Agents are named, not hidden.

Each agent is a Zoho user with its own permissions. You can see everything it did in Zoho's audit trail.

  4. Your account, your boundary.

The models, logs and long-running work live in your AWS account, under your policies and your bill.

For the CISO in the front row

Six things security will ask.

Identity

A named Zoho user

Each agent is a Zoho user with its own OAuth grant, and the token stays in your AWS account. No shared admin keys and no screen scraping.

Least privilege

Only approved tools

The agent sees only the Zoho tools your admin approved, and policy rules decide which of those it may call.

Human gates

Your approvals hold

Zoho approval processes and Blueprint stages stay in force. An agent cannot move a step that needs an approver.

Audit

Visible in Zoho

Every action shows in Zoho as that user. Every reasoning step is traced in your account, keyed to the record ID.

Data boundary

Your account, your data

Models, logs and indexes live in your AWS account. Amazon Bedrock does not use your data to train models. Personal data is masked on the way in and out.

Cost

Pay for what runs

AWS usage is billed to your own account, per call, with budget alarms set on day one and no idle servers. Zoho calls draw on your existing API limits.

Intermission

Questions from the house.

Does Midstage replace Zia?

No. Zia is the right tool for work that happens inside Zoho, on Zoho data. Midstage covers the work between Zoho and everything else: data outside Zoho, work that runs for days, and custom models. If Zia can already do it, we'll tell you to use Zia.

Where does our data go?

Into your own AWS account and nowhere else. Midstage deploys there. Models, indexes and logs stay in that account, and Amazon Bedrock does not use your data to train models. Zoho remains the system of record.

Do we need an AWS account?

Yes, Midstage runs in one. If you don't have one yet, we'll help you set it up as part of the first walkthrough.

Which Zoho apps does it work with?

Any app reachable through Zoho's MCP server, Zoho Flow, webhooks or the Zoho REST APIs. In practice that means CRM, Desk, Books, Inventory, Projects, Creator, Analytics and Cliq first.

Is Midstage affiliated with Zoho or AWS?

No. Midstage is an independent company. It connects to Zoho through Zoho's published interfaces and runs on AWS services in your own account.

Can we use it today?

Midstage is in early access. Request a seat and we'll set up a one-hour walkthrough on your own Zoho setup to decide which role to cast first.

Your seat for the walkthrough.

One hour on your own Zoho setup: where AI stalled, what lives outside Zoho, and which role would earn its keep first. No charge, and you keep the notes.
